We're not going to talk about how this show takes place in Atlanta and there are almost no black people. We're not going to talk about how despite have a Latinx main character the show still centers around white gayness. We're also not going to talk about how despite being in the black mecca of the south, Victor somehow finds a white boyfriend. We're not going to talk about all the opportunities the writers missed to give us a diverse and modern day love story. We're not going to talk about how pretty much the entire cast is straight in real life. We'll just wait for Pose to come back on.
What we are going to talk about is Mason Gooding, son of Cuba Gooding Jr, and the best part of the show. HE could have and should have been the love interest. That would have made for an interesting show. Instead they make him the "the jock." Groundbreaking.
