So listen. We get it. Coming from a small town in south, all they gay couples we saw were on TV and they always embodied every LGBTQ stereotype you could think of. So it can be a bit jarring for people to see a gay couple that is outside of what they think a gay couple should be, but also:
THERE IS NO ONE TYPE OF SAME GENDER LOVING PERSON. PERIODT. THERE IS NO ONE TYPE OF TRANS PERSON, OR BI PERSON OR LESBIAN, ETC.
Seriously. We come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds on every socioeconomic level.. The level of comfort in which we are allowed to express our true selves and love who we want is often stifled by the environment we were raised in but at the end of the day we are who we are.
This "couple" is actually two models and band mates who we believed used to date. They are Izzy and Nigel who sometimes perform under the group name "Deaddogs"
If seeing pictures of them together help someone shake off the chains of their previous perceptions then so be it.
